Nightweft DREAMER PROGRAM PARTICIPANT CONSENT AND DATA AGREEMENT
Version 2.3, revised 08/2001
1. Purpose. The Dreamer Program helps Nightweft, Inc. ("Nightweft") improve the reconstruction of dreams from sleep signals. Your participation helps make Dream Reels better for every member.
2. What you will do. Wear your Circlet at least five (5) nights per week for twelve (12) months, and keep your Spindle connected to a standard telephone line so it can sync with the Nightweft Dream Center each morning.
3. Risks and discomforts. The Circlet is safe and non-invasive. Some participants report more vivid dreams while in the Program. A small number report dreams that feel unfamiliar, or that seem to belong to someone else. These effects are temporary.
4. Your dream data. "Dream Data" means the signals recorded by your Spindle, the reels reconstructed from them, and any notes or titles you add to your reels.
5. License. By enrolling, you grant Nightweft a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, analyze and create derivative works from your Dream Data, including to train and improve the reconstruction engine and to reconstruct the dreams of other members.
6. Privacy. Nightweft will not sell your personal information. Reels you share on the Dream Feed will be visible to the public along with your first name, last initial, city and Member ID.
7. Withdrawal. You may withdraw from the Program at any time by calling Member Services at (650) 555-0143. Dream Data that has already been incorporated into the reconstruction engine cannot be removed.
8. Questions. Contact the Dreamer Program at dreamers@nightweft.com.
